ButterJAM was contracted by the Tappan Zee Hudson River Crossing Bridge Replacement project to create various online and mobile database monitoring systems for the $3.142 billion dollar 5-year capital construction project. They include Equipment Source Monitoring, Station Calibration Monitoring, Field Inspection Reporting, Visual Water Quality Monitoring, and Environmental Alert Monitoring. Each of the systems include custom designed database tools used by the project management teams to assist in the numerous complex aspects of the construction endeavor. The database systems are equipped with comprehensive reporting modules, automated alerts, data entry wizards for online and mobile data input, file management tools, user logging, and automated backup routines. The systems automate hundreds of compliance rules, exceptions, and waivers that is required to minimize environmental impact from the construction. The systems are supported with hundreds of automated scripts that ingest, process, maintain, and report on the millions of records that span the massive databases.
