ButterJAM was contracted by the Tappan Zee Hudson River Crossing Bridge Replacement project to create a real-time environmental reporting system for the $3.142 billion dollar 5-year capital construction project. The system ingests live data from 32 noise, vibration, and air quality monitors placed throughout the construction site and processes the raw data into client specified custom graphs that are subsequently made available immediately on the public-facing construction website. Per the project specifications, the system provides a graph update for each of the 32 monitors every minute. The system also generates daily archived images for each of the monitors, documenting the 24 hour span. Generated data and files are automatically replicated and backed up to various project sites for disaster recovery purposes.
